“Homes have never been more important,” said Home Builders Association of Dayton Board President, Erika Deady.  “They are our offices, our playgrounds, and our sanctuaries. We are proud of the builders in this year’s show who exemplify these sentiments and look forward to hosting our guests in the weeks ahead.”

Union Village contains single family homes, townhomes, six parks, a bank and a healthcare facility. Over the next 40 years, the community will expand to 4,500 homes, additional green spaces, and shopping and dining destinations within walking distance. The neighborhood’s proximity to both Dayton and Cincinnati offers residents and future residents accessibility to both markets within a 30 minute- drive. The site’s town architect, Michael Watkins, earned the 2015 Urban Planning John Russell Pope Award for the Union Village master plan.

The Home Builders Association of Dayton has represented the residential construction industry throughout the Dayton region since 1942. The HBA’s mission is to advocate for policies which will allow for our industry to meet the growing and diverse needs of our region, promote awareness of the home building industry and the thousands of jobs it supports, provide a path for professional career development, and to serve as a vehicle for relationship-building and industry collaboration. In collaboration with industry partners, civic partners, and the communities we serve, the HBA exists to make the Dayton region more attractive to businesses and residents, supporting the American Dream of homeownership.
