Along Allen Street in Union Village, new homes are beginning to fill the landscape. Some of them are constructed by Clemens Companies, a family-owned business with roots going back 40 years in Dayton.

Nate Clemens, his brothers and other family members have expanded the business into new communities, and liked the concept of Union Village.

“The whole community is a new atmosphere you don’t see these days,” said Nate Clemens. “The front porches of Union Village set up the streetscape… it’s really comforting and welcoming.”

Home construction at Union Village began in January 2020. The award-winning planned community is based on the 10 Principles of New Urbanism, which include walkability, sustainability, and other values that make the development unique to southwest Ohio.
