Berkey and Second Story Complete Homes at Union Village

Berkey Custom Homes and Second Story Homes have completed construction on new homes at Union Village, a unique community taking shape in Warren County.

The homes offer more than 2,000 square feet of living place with drastically different floor plans to accommodate modern families. Berkey’s “Piedmont” features include two spacious, covered porches and a first-floor master suite with an exposed brick wall. Second Story’s “Miami River Cottage” offers a spacious loft above its two-car garage and an additional, second-floor family room.

The homes are just steps away from the 17,000-square foot Center Building, which provides space for a restaurant, bank, Union Village Realty and other offices. The Building was completed at the end of 2020.

“Union Village residents will walk to the Center Building to check their mail, meet for coffee and enjoy both indoor and outdoor dining options,” said Union Village Project Manager Matt Obringer.

Brookstone Homes was the first builder to offer a completed model in July of 2020. “The Washington” is a 4,000-square-foot home that includes an apartment above a detached, three-car garage. Other homebuilders including Ashford Homes, Clemens Companies, Generations Construction, and J&K Custom Homes also broke ground in 2020.

Charles Simms Development is constructing seven townhomes in The Townes at Union Village, which are expected to be completed in February.

Interested homebuyers are encouraged to browse Union Village real estate online to see homes available in the first phase of the development. To schedule a private showing, individuals should call or text (513) 325-1082.

Union Village is the only new development in southwest Ohio based on the 10 Principles of New Urbanism. An award-winning master plan aims to make it easy for residents to reach most of their daily needs within a 10-minute walk.

The community’s town architect, Michael Watkins, earned the 2015 Urban Planning John Russell Pope Award for the Union Village 1,230-acre master plan. The community will have a 200-acre greenway system of meadows, woodland parks and pathways connecting to Armco Park and the Warren County Sports Park.
