Update: Homearama Visitors Experience New Urbanism at Union Village

Thousands of people visited Union Village during Dayton Homearama: Lifestyle Edition. As they walked the first streets of the neighborhood and toured 11 homes, they experienced the unique lifestyle offered.

“We’re a very unique community,“ said Project Manager Matt Obringer. “Front porches are the main thing you notice when you walk through the neighborhood. Garages are located in the back on alleys. That really helps promote walkability.”

Union Village is based on an award-winning master plan that follows the 10 Principles of New Urbanism, which include quality architecture, mixed use and walkability. As Obringer pointed out, the neighborhood is just getting started.

“This is the start of a neighborhood, the start of a town… we’re going to continue to grow.”

Private showings of Union Village homes and townhomes are available by calling Union Village Realty at (513) 409-3190. The Realty office is open throughout the week and Saturday and Sunday noon to 4 p.m. at 3855 Lower Market Street, Lebanon, Ohio 45036.
