More Townhomes Coming to Union Village in 2022

Dayton-based Charles Simms Development will break ground on more townhomes in July at Union Village, southwest Ohio’s first new development based on new urbanism.

The seven, two-bedroom townhomes start at $399,900. The Townes at Union Village offer low maintenance living and built-in technology such as Nest WiFi thermostat, a two-car garage pre-wired for electric vehicle charging and USB chargers in the home. Union Village Realty is pre-selling the homes, which are expected to be complete by January 2023.

A second building for The Townes at Union Village will be constructed on Allen Street at Union Village, Ohio.

The builder constructed seven townhomes in the neighborhood in 2019, which were featured during 2021 Homearama: Lifestyle Edition. One of the homes is a model for The Townes.

“We are excited to offer more homes in this neighborhood where people are enjoying the lifestyle and sense of community,” said Robi Simms, vice president at Charles Simms Development. “We’ve enlarged the private patio space for each townhome. We also changed up the elevation with a new look that is going to be a perfect fit on Allen Street at Union Village.”

The Townes are a short walk from Union Village Square, where live music and events are taking place this summer. The site is also home to an LCNB National Bank branch and a Premier Health urgent care facility. Retail and dining options are also planned for the town square.
