UPDATE: Authentic Details Differentiate Homes at Union Village

With four homes move-in ready, it’s possible to see the authentic details that differentiate homes at Union Village. Project Manager Matt Obringer provided an update and a closer look at these features.

“All of these things inside and out make the homes here unique at Union Village,” Obringer said.

Exterior Features of Union Village Homes

Union Village homes are designed with simple proportions and emphasis on symmetry, making them pleasing to the eye.

Windows are placed in consistent patterns with vertical orientation. Muntins, which divide the light passing through the windows, are on the outside of the window panes. Shutters are sized appropriately and fully operable.

Placing garages in the rear of the homes allows spacious porches to stand out in the front. The porches are at least eight-feet deep, providing ample outdoor living space.

Interior Feature of Union Village Homes

Ten-foot ceilings are standard in Union Village homes. Many of the homes also feature hardwood floors, coffered ceilings, exposed beams and unique lighting fixtures.

The homes are designed to combine style with function for modern families. Open living spaces include large kitchens and dining areas. Above-the-garage apartments, mudrooms and home office options are practical spaces also found in some floor plans.

Interested homebuyers can view homes online, including completed homes, homes under construction and additional floor plans. Union Village Realty provides open house hours Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m. Private showings are also available by calling (513) 409-3190.

Union Village is a 1,230-acre master planned community based on new urbanism, which includes principles such as walkability, sustainability and quality of life. The site’s town architect, Michael Watkins, earned the 2015 Urban Planning John Russell Pope Award for the Union Village master plan. The community will have a 200-acre greenway system of meadows, woodland parks and pathways connecting to Armco Park and the Warren County Sports Park.
